
Ivett was born in Zamora Michoacán, Mexico, and raised in Los Angeles. A dual-language learner and proud mother, she brings both lived and professional experience to her work with children and families. Ivett holds a B.A. in Early Childhood Studies with a concentration in Early Care and Education from Sonoma State University. She has over 12 years of experience in the field, including work with Boys and Girls Club after school programs, Head Start and Early Head Start, and First 5 Napa County.
Ivett’s work is grounded in both professional dedication and a deep personal connection to the communities she serves. In her spare time, Ivett enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Oso, as well as exploring the outdoors and doing arts and crafts.
