Polling Research – Sonoma County Voter Support for Funding Early Childhood Services

In August, 2021, First 5 Sonoma County contracted with FM3 to conduct polling research on Sonoma County voter support for public investment in programs and services that support early childhood development, 0-5.
Expenditures of tax revenue that gleaned the highest levels of support from survey respondents included:
- Services that support the health and mental health of vulnerable children who have experienced trauma, particularly those in homeless families;
- Expenditures that would increase access to preschool and childcare for working families, in particular, addressing the low wages of childcare providers;
- Services and outreach to prevent child maltreatment
