Mini Grants 2022

First 5 Sonoma County’s Mini‐Grant Program provides small grants up to $1,500 to licensed child care providers, early childhood professionals and caregivers. There is no minimum request required. If you receive a mini-grant, you have until June 30, 2022 complete your mini-grant project. Your mini-grant project must fit within the eligibility guidelines to be considered for funding.

This mini-grant cycle is a collaborative funding partnership between Cradle to Career Sonoma County and First 5 Sonoma County.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Applications must be submitted via electronic form in SurveyMonkey, or paper application may be mailed, walked-into office, or scanned and emailed to funding@first5sonomacounty.org. To download paper application click here.

If a mini-grant is granted a W-9 must be submitted.

Consulting: Home Visiting Coordination Planning RFP

First 5 Sonoma County is accepting proposals from qualified individual consultants and/or agencies interested in providing professional consulting and advisory services for a range of objectives within the scope of the home visiting coordination planning contract between First 5 Sonoma County and First 5 California. This RFP outlines the information necessary to understand the competitive selection process and the required documentation necessary for the submission of proposals. All interested proposers must meet the requirements specified in this RFP.

Child Care Resiliency Fund Round 2

First 5 Sonoma is please to announce the second round of funding for the Sonoma County Child Care Resiliency Fund.

The goal of the Sonoma County Child Care Resiliency Fund is to ensure that child care businesses remain open or re-open in the midst of the pandemicOne-time grants to licensed and license-exempt child care providers that meet specific eligibility criteria (see below) can be used to address a broad range of needs to support the continued operation of a child care program.

The Fund is a collaborative funding partnership between the City of Santa Rosa, Community Foundation Sonoma County and First 5 Sonoma County.
Deadline to apply is Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 5:00 pm.

The Mini-Grants program is now closed, we are no longer accepting mini-grant applications for fiscal year 2019-2020. Our Mini-Grants program will be replaced by our new Child Care Resiliency Fund for fiscal year 2020-2021.
