Jennielynn Homes was born and raised in Santa Rosa, CA and received her undergraduate degree from the University of California Davis. She also earned a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco. Jennielynn was recognized by the North Bay Business Journal as one of the top 40 business professionals under the age of 40. More recently, she was recognized by Senator Mike McGuire as Sonoma County’s Woman of the Year in 2016.
Jennielynn has a deep passion for serving those most vulnerable individuals, families and children in our community, especially those at risk or experiencing homelessness. She is currently the Senior Director of Shelter and Housing at Catholic Charities. Jennielynn has expressed her deep appreciation for the opportunity to serve as a First 5 Commissioner as an advocate for vulnerable children in our community.
