Angel Flores

As the WIC Director at SCIHP, Angel provides leadership for the program and works with staff to plan outreach, breastfeeding support, referrals and nutrition education to new moms and caregivers.
Angel has dedicated 14 years to the Sonoma County Indian Health Project and Angel serves on the Board of Directors for the California WIC as the Native American representative to the Board.
In 2016, Angel earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Sonoma State University. She is an enrolled member of the Round Valley Indian Tribes and is Pomo, Wailaki, and Concow. Angel’s experience as a participant in various local programs like Catholic Charities Family shelter, Tribal TANF, The Living Room, SNAP, Burbank Housing, and WIC deeply informs her service to the community. She is the proud mom of two daughters and two sons.
